Whoops Again!

I got so into reading websites about Gamma World that I completely forgot to post on Friday. I don't know why but I've been on a nostalgia kick recently. When I was younger, the idea of Gamma World was appealing because it suggested life could continue on after an apocalypse. Also you would get these awesome mutant powers.

As a middle-aged man, I read about the PSHs, and I wonder how they would manage to survive. Probably the robots have an affinity for the pure strain humans. The robots operate according to Asimov's laws unless they're broken or something. And the Gamma World robots seem to be pretty dumb, too.

This is the kind of stuff I think about instead of posting on Friday.

Comic transcript

The crowd of people protesting the rape of a black stripper pause suddenly. Their leader was hit by a blast of water, where did it come from? The old man-hippie with the pony tail mutters "Hey! What's going - " but he too is nailed with a blat of water, along with two blacks in African clothes and a balding student wearing wire rim Lennon glasses and a Che t-shirt, all of them are blasted and sent flying.

The wave of water sweeps across the park, and we see the protestors soggy and disillusioned and with luck, a little banged up.

We see it's Crimebuster who's handling a firehose connected to a hydrant. He's got a smile on his face as he blasts the protestors.

In the last panel on the page, we learn more about the character of Crimebuster he is so delighted by the sogging he is administering to the protestors that he calls out "Yeah! All right!"
